This beautiful Lake Muskoka property had been in the family for many years. Needing an upgrade, this client reached out to Edenlane Muskoka. Having built the property for family in the past, we were familiar with the client and came highly recommended.
As happens sometimes with projects of this magnitude, adjustments needed to be made to the design. Once the design was ready to go, our team got to work putting this dream home together.
The exterior of this home boasts contemporary colours of grey and yellow and utilizes a mixture of industrial and contemporary materials like metal and lodge pole pine. The windows are floor to ceiling with accordion style bifold doors leading out to the view of the lake. European white oak flooring and fir wood beams greet you on the inside, giving this space a warm and cozy Muskoka cottage feel. The floor to ceiling fireplace adds warmth and a focal point for the main entertaining area and the kitchen boasts a large island for entertaining and meal prep. This cottage also features a laundry room with a full apron sink and gold hardware. Our favourite part of the cottage has to be the wrap around porch leading to the dock for full enjoyment of the lake in the summer months.
